Pag to host fourth Burafest art festival in August 2026

The fourth edition of Burafest, an art festival dedicated to children, youth, and families, is scheduled to take place from August 27 to 30, 2026, at the Knežev dvor in Pag. Organized by the Nahero art organization in collaboration with the City of Pag and the Pag Tourist Board, this year’s festival is themed around the celebration of childhood.

The program features a diverse range of artistic disciplines, including theater, music, dance, photography, visual arts, and ecology. Highlights include theatrical performances such as ‘Priča o oblaku’ and ‘Sunce djever i Neva Nevičica’ by Mala scena, as well as ecological plays and interactive concert performances.

Attendees can participate in various workshops, such as cyanotype, jazz improvisation, making pictures from island flora, voice exploration, and creating dolls from recycled materials. The festival also includes an exhibition by artist Tara Beata Racz and musical performances by harpist Anton Perkov. All programs are free of charge, though registration is required for workshops and performances.
