Pahang explores importing 100 dairy buffaloes from Italy

The Pahang State Government is exploring the procurement of 100 dairy buffaloes from Italy to strengthen the West Pahang Dairy Valley. Pahang Menteri Besar Dato’ Sri Diraja Haji Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail led a delegation to Salerno, Italy, to study advanced livestock farming practices, processing technologies, and dairy industry supply chains.

During the working visit, the delegation met with Azienda Agricola Tempio Di Barlotti Gianluigi to discuss potential cooperation and the acquisition of the buffaloes. This initiative aims to modernize the state's dairy industry, increase local production, and establish the livestock sector as a key economic driver in line with the ‘Aspirasi Pahang 1st’ development plan.
