Pahang Rangers FC and JDT match marred by supporter tension

A Malaysia Premier Futsal League (MPFL) semi-final match between Pahang Rangers FC and Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) at Sukpa, Kuantan, was marred by tension involving supporters from both sides. The match, which ended in a 4-2 victory for Pahang Rangers FC, saw temporary interruptions due to verbal provocations and incidents involving thrown objects.

According to the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) Match Commissioner, the incident began around the 11th minute when certain Pahang Rangers supporters approached the JDT 'Boys of Straits' section. Security personnel managed to prevent physical clashes between the groups. Following the match, tensions continued as some Pahang Rangers supporters gathered outside the stadium, leading authorities to instruct JDT supporters to remain inside until police could provide a controlled exit and escort for their team buses.

On the pitch, Pahang Rangers FC secured a two-goal advantage heading into the second leg. Felipe de Souza scored twice, with additional goals from Tuah Eizlan Aminuddin and Rodrigo Galvao de Silva. JDT's goals were scored by Andres Prieto and Awalluddin Mat Nawi.
