Paige Herschell exits General Hospital as Jacinda Bracken

Actress Paige Herschell has exited the ABC daytime soap opera ‘General Hospital’ after playing the character Jacinda Bracken for over a year. Her departure was dictated by the show’s storyline.

In the August 11 episode, Jacinda’s arc concluded after she drugged Willow’s coffee with molly. Following the incident, Michael Corinthos confronted Jacinda, stating that she needed to leave town to avoid further complications regarding custody and legal leverage. Michael provided her with funds to start a new life, and the character was written out of the series by being banished to Australia.

Originally intended as a short-term role, the character of Jacinda became a recurring figure involved in various plotlines, including a scheme to drug Drew with ketamine.
