Painter Věra Hörstová creates nature-inspired art in Podkrkonoší

Věra Hörstová is a successful Czech painter and visual artist based in the Podkrkonoší region, specifically in the village of Vrchovina near Nová Paka. Her work primarily features floral arrangements and nature motifs, utilizing various techniques including oil painting, watercolor, tempera, and linocut.

Hörstová also conducts creative linocut workshops for the public. Her artistic journey has included three trips to India to gain personal and creative insight. Her recent activities include participating in the VAU project in Hořice, which aimed to foster creativity through workshops and an exhibition held at the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary.
