Paiosaco fair showcases autumn harvest and seasonal products

The Paiosaco fair showcased a diverse autumn harvest, coinciding with the XXI Festa da Fabada. The event drew significant crowds of residents and visitors under sunny weather conditions.

Agricultural offerings were abundant, featuring seasonal products such as chestnuts, figs, grapes, quinces, and apples. Key vegetable sales included Kennebec and red-skinned potatoes, various tomato varieties, and different types of green beans. Beans, the central ingredient of the gastronomic festival, were a major highlight, with shelled varieties reaching prices of ten to twelve euros.
