Paipa, Colombia plants 1,000 Eugenia trees in community event
In the rural vereda El Salitre of Paipa, a coordinated environmental initiative saw the planting of one thousand Eugenia trees. The effort involved the municipal secretariat, soldiers from the Colombian Army’s Group of Medium Cavalry No. 1, members of the National Police, and local children and residents. Participants also inaugurated the “La Paz” mural, promoting community cohesion and environmental stewardship.
The tree‑planting day highlighted collaboration between civil authorities and security forces to improve the local environment and reinforce institutional presence in the area.
