Paipa, Colombia upgrades community hall with 130 million‑peso Ministry of Interior grant

The Vereda La Playa community in Paipa, Boyacá, received a 130 million‑peso investment from Colombia’s Ministry of Interior, administered through a partnership with Findeter. The funding enabled the renovation of the local communal hall and the provision of new equipment, aiming to strengthen public meeting spaces and community participation.

The project was coordinated by the local Junta de Acción Comunal, led by president Efrán Monroy, with support from representative Héctor Chaparro and councilor Iván Monroy. Officials highlighted the collaborative effort that secured the resources and oversaw the implementation of the improvements.
