Paithan villages adopt ‘One Village, One Ganapati’ for social unity

In the Paithan taluka, 47 villages have adopted the ‘One Village, One Ganapati’ concept to promote social unity. By deciding to install a single idol collectively, these communities are fostering a sense of harmony and cooperation throughout the rural region during the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.

Local police authorities have implemented extensive security measures to maintain law and order. Under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Prakash Jadhav, police presence has been increased at sensitive locations, procession routes, and immersion sites. Officials have held meetings with peace committees and local festival committees to ensure the festivities remain safe and peaceful, urging citizens to cooperate with the administration and avoid rumors.
