Paju City to host 2026 Urban Regeneration Festa

Paju City will host the 2026 Urban Regeneration Festa on October 24 at the Geumchon Eoullim Center. This event integrates previously separate regional and project-based achievement sharing sessions into a single unified festival to share progress with citizens and discuss the future direction of the region.

The festival is designed as a citizen-participation event, showcasing the transformation of local areas and the results of community-led efforts. The program includes exhibitions of urban regeneration achievements, the 4th Geumchon DMZ Wildflower Festival, the Munsan Peace Ride Festival, site tours of urban regeneration projects, cultural performances, and various hands-on activities.

Mayor Son Bae-chan stated that the city aims to continue urban regeneration projects that reflect local characteristics and resident voices, striving to create a balanced development city where citizens can lead the change in their own neighborhoods.
