Pakatan Harapan ruled out of Negeri Sembilan state executive council

State assemblyman Datuk Saiful Yazan Sulaiman of UMNO denied any discussion about Pakatan Harapan (PH) joining the Negeri Sembilan Executive Council (EXCO), calling recent reports unfounded. He urged political actors to give Menteri Besar Datuk Ismail Lasim space to govern.

Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Ahmad Zahid Hamidi also rejected rumours of a PH EXCO appointment, stating that no talks have taken place and that the new state administration reflects the election results, where BN secured 18 seats, PH 11 and Perikatan Nasional 7. Both officials emphasized that PH will not be part of the new state executive.
