Pakistan and Kazakhstan discuss enhancing bilateral ties

Presidential spokesperson Murtaza Solangi held a farewell meeting with the outgoing Kazakh Ambassador, Yerzhan Kistafin, in Islamabad. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing connectivity to promote regional peace and prosperity.

Solangi highlighted the potential for Pakistan to act as a maritime gateway for landlocked Kazakhstan, suggesting improved land, air, and sea links to connect Kazakhstan to global markets via Pakistani seaports. Discussions also covered expanding cooperation in trade, investment, mineral resources, health, education, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges. Additionally, both parties explored opportunities for sports diplomacy in areas such as boxing, mountaineering, and traditional sports.
