Pakistan Cricket Board bans former players for joining unsanctioned Asian Legends League in Zambia

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced that former Pakistan cricketers who participated in the 20th Asian Legends League 2026 in Zambia will face disciplinary action. The league has not been approved by the International Cricket Council (ICC) or the Zambia Cricket Union (ZCU) and is classified as an unsanctioned event under ICC regulations. PCB said any player who took part without a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the board will be barred for two years from receiving a PCB NOC for overseas leagues and will be ineligible for any coaching, consultancy, mentoring or other roles with the PCB and the Pakistan Super League (PSL) during that period. The board reaffirmed its commitment to upholding ICC rules and safeguarding the integrity of the game, and warned that failure to enforce these regulations could expose member boards to ICC action.
