Pakistan Cricket Board unveils National Champions Cup roster and match timetable

The Pakistan Cricket Board announced that the inaugural National Champions Cup will be held from 11 to 18 August at the Multan Cricket Stadium. All seven List‑A 50‑over matches will be day‑night fixtures beginning at 3 p.m. local time.

Four teams – Pakistan Greens, Pakistan Whites, Pakistan Blues and Pakistan Gold – will compete in a single round‑robin format. Captains are Shadab Khan (Greens), Saim Ayub (Whites), Sahibzada Farhan (Blues) and Shaheen Shah Afridi (Gold). The top two sides after the league stage will meet in the final on 18 August.

A reserve pool of 13 players has been named to replace any injured or concussed players during the tournament. The competition opens the 2026‑27 domestic season and is intended to give selectors a platform to assess talent ahead of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2027.
