Pakistan Deputy PM holds diplomatic meetings with US, China, and Norway

Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held several high-level diplomatic meetings in Islamabad.

Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong met with Dar to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments. During the meeting, Dar expressed condolences regarding the death of a Chinese climber in a Broad Peak avalanche and assured that Pakistan would facilitate the return of the deceased to China.

U.S. Chargé d'Affaires Natalie A. Baker also met with Dar to discuss bilateral cooperation and regional stability. Dar noted positive progress in Pakistan-U.S. relations and emphasized the importance of diplomacy for lasting peace.

Additionally, Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide met with Dar to review all aspects of bilateral ties. Both leaders agreed to further enhance cooperation. Dar highlighted the 78-year partnership between the two nations, while Eide noted the significant Pakistani community in Norway and the role of Norwegian companies in Pakistan's development.
