Pakistan earns $107 million from mango exports to 49 countries

Pakistan has generated $107.09 million (approximately Rs29.7 billion) through the export of 85,247 tonnes of fresh mangoes to 49 different countries. The export performance highlights strong international demand for the country’s seasonal fruit and provides significant foreign exchange earnings for the agricultural sector.

Market demand varies significantly by region. The United Kingdom emerged as the top market by export value, importing mangoes worth $29.92 million. In contrast, the United Arab Emirates received the highest volume of shipments, totaling 23,025 tonnes. The five leading export destinations collectively accounted for nearly 75% of the total earnings.

Maintaining and expanding these international markets depends on strict adherence to quality standards and the ability to preserve freshness throughout the supply chain during transport.
