Pakistan Fuel Relief Scheme reaches 8.4 million registrations
Pakistan’s Prime Minister’s Fuel Relief Scheme has reached over 8.4 million registrations as of October 1, 2026. Since its launch on September 15, the nationwide initiative has issued more than 12.2 million fuel tokens.
Data from the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication indicates that over 10.3 million tokens have been redeemed at participating petrol stations, representing an 84.4 percent utilization rate. The scheme has achieved full nationwide coverage across all petrol pumps within its first three weeks of operation.
The program’s rollout involves coordination between the Pakistan Digital Authority, the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication, and fuel station operators. To assist with the high volume of activity, a 24/7 call center has been established to support both citizens and petrol pump operators regarding registration, token generation, and redemption processes.
