Pakistan ISI allegedly links Hamas with Kashmir terror groups

Security agencies have reportedly established links between Hamas and several Pakistan-based terror organizations, with meetings held under the patronage of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

A key meeting took place in Rawalot on February 5, 2025, involving operatives from Hamas and the Pakistani groups Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). Titled “Kashmir Solidarity and Hamas Operation Al-Aqsa Flood”, the gathering focused on exchanging organizational experience and discussing operational details, such as the use of drones.

Intelligence Bureau officials stated that the primary objective of these meetings is to merge the Palestinian cause with the Kashmir issue to project both as resistance movements. This strategy is reportedly intended to revitalize the Kashmir cause within Jammu and Kashmir, where interest in Pakistani-led narratives has reportedly declined following the abrogation of Article 370. By involving Hamas, the ISI aims to signal that international terror groups also recognize the Kashmir cause as a resistance-driven movement, hoping to sway local populations in the region.
