Pakistan leaders urge unity on Eid Miladun Nabi

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have issued messages to the nation to observe the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad on the occasion of Eid Miladun Nabi.

President Zardari emphasized that the birth of the Prophet marked an enlightened era that replaced ignorance with guidance and promoted equality, brotherhood, and justice. He noted that the Seerat-un-Nabi provides a path for establishing a righteous society through moral values, compassion, and the protection of vulnerable populations, including orphans and the poor.

Addressing the National Seerat Conference in Islamabad, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called for greater unity among the Muslim Ummah, urging citizens to set aside sectarian identities. He highlighted the importance of the Prophet’s life as a model for the character development of the younger generation, citing lessons of patience, forgiveness, and wisdom. The Prime Minister also acknowledged the support of Saudi Arabia and Turkiye, describing them as an ‘iron wall’ for Pakistan.
