Pakistan levels Test series against West Indies

Abdullah Shafique was the standout performer, scoring an unbeaten 160 in the first innings. His performance included a 191-run third-wicket partnership with captain Babar Azam. The victory followed a tactical shift where Pakistan adjusted to spin-friendly conditions by selecting off-spinner Sajid Khan and debutant Ali Usman over experienced seamer Mohammad Abbas.

Despite the breakthrough, concerns remain regarding Pakistan’s middle-order consistency, specifically with players like Salman Ali Agha and Mohammad Rizwan. These batting vulnerabilities persist ahead of an upcoming three-Test series against England scheduled to begin on August 19.
