Pakistan military warns of massive response to regional miscalculation

Lieutenant General Aamer Raza, Commander of Pakistan’s National Strategic Command, has issued a warning that any hostile miscalculation against the country will trigger a response exceeding an adversary’s expectations. Speaking at a passing-out parade for the 154th Long Course at the Pakistan Military Academy in Kakul, Raza emphasized that there is no space for conflict in a nuclearized environment.

Raza’s remarks follow recent statements by Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, who indicated that any new terrorist activity originating from across the border would result in a strike against Pakistan larger than previous operations. In response, Pakistan’s Foreign Office condemned Singh’s rhetoric, describing it as reckless and a threat to regional stability.

Additionally, General Raza highlighted efforts by hostile actors to undermine Pakistan’s internal stability through proxy militancy, disinformation, and narrative warfare. He cautioned that these sub-conventional tactics aim to create divisions between the Pakistani public and its armed forces.
