Bilawal Bhutto Zardari denies marriage and engagement rumors

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), has officially denied widespread social media rumors regarding his engagement and marriage. The speculation suggested that Bhutto was set to marry a member of the Austrian House of Habsburg-Lorraine, specifically identifying 26-year-old Archduchess Gloria von Habsburg as his intended bride.

In a video statement, Bhutto dismissed the reports as a “social media circus” and a “spectacle” intended to divert public attention from significant national issues, such as the recent PIMS hospital tragedy in Islamabad involving the loss of 14 newborns. He emphasized that any decisions regarding his personal life would be announced directly by his family.

Earlier reports had claimed that President Asif Ali Zardari had traveled to Europe to finalize wedding arrangements. However, PPP leaders, including Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab, have characterized these claims as “incorrect and unfounded.”
