Pakistan PIA announces 2027 Hajj airfares

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced airfares for the 2027 Hajj season under the private Hajj scheme. The fares, which are set in US dollars and exclude taxes, are categorized into low, medium, and peak seasons.

For economy class, fares to Jeddah and Medina will range from $750 to $800 during the low season (April 8 to April 30, 2027), $900 to $950 during the medium season (May 1 to May 8), and $1,100 to $1,150 during the peak season (May 9 to May 11).

Executive class (Economy Plus) fares are set between $1,250 and $1,300. Applicants for the private scheme must pay a non-refundable 10 percent advance of the fare to secure tickets.

Separately, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued travel advisories for Pakistani pilgrims traveling to Iran and Iraq. Travelers are advised to confirm flight schedules in advance, particularly for routes to Tehran, Mashhad, and Najaf, to avoid uncertainty. Direct flights from Iraq to Pakistan have resumed following a suspension caused by regional tensions, with Fly Baghdad's first flight arriving in Karachi.
