Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif Blames India for Terrorist Attacks in Balochistan
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said India’s role in terrorist activities inside Pakistan is “absolutely clear”, urging a collective response to the threat. Speaking at the Balochistan National Workshop in Islamabad, he accused India of sponsoring terrorism that has re‑emerged after being largely contained in 2018.
Sharif also criticized the Afghan Taliban regime for failing to prevent militants from using Afghan territory to launch attacks against Pakistan. He highlighted ongoing development initiatives for Balochistan, noting the Karachi‑Chaman dual‑carriageway project and the Punjab province’s contribution of Rs150 billion under the National Finance Commission award. The prime minister pledged continued security operations and greater financial devolution to the provinces to promote balanced national growth.
