Pakistan tech delegation launches US roadshow to boost IT exports
A delegation of 16 established Pakistani technology companies and two startups has arrived in the United States as part of the ‘Pak–US Tech Connect 2026’ initiative. Led by the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) in partnership with the Pakistani Embassy in Washington, D.C., the multi-city roadshow includes stops in Silicon Valley, Dallas, Washington, D.C., and Chicago.
The program aims to expand Pakistan’s information technology exports by connecting local firms with American executives, including chief information officers and chief technology officers. Participating companies specialize in sectors such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, fintech, healthcare technology, and data engineering. Notable firms involved include Systems Limited, NetSol Technologies, 10Pearls, Arbisoft, and CureMD Healthcare.
The United States currently accounts for more than half of Pakistan’s annual technology exports. Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh stated that the showcase is a crucial step toward establishing Pakistan as a significant contributor and partner in the global technological landscape. While the initiative focuses on building direct relationships and exploring long-term commercial partnerships, organizers have not yet disclosed the total value of any signed deals or confirmed investment commitments resulting from the meetings.
