Pakistani citizen executed in Mecca for heroin smuggling

A Pakistani citizen has been executed in Mecca for the crime of heroin smuggling. Following investigations by security authorities, the case was presented to a relevant court where the crime was proven.

According to the Saudi Ministry of Interior, the death sentence was carried out after the issuance of a Supreme Court ruling and a royal decree. The Ministry stated that strict punishments will continue to be applied to all those involved in drug smuggling.
