Pakistani designers Zain Ahmad and Faraz Manan named to BoF 500 index
Two Pakistani designers have been named to the Business of Fashion’s influential BoF 500 global industry index. Streetwear designer Zain Ahmad joins existing member and luxury couturier Faraz Manan in the 2026 additions.
Ahmad’s Lahore-based label, Rastah, incorporates traditional textile techniques like hand looms and block printing into contemporary streetwear. The label reported gross revenue of $2.2 million in 2025 and achieved profitability that same year. Its clientele includes international figures such as Justin Bieber and Timothée Chalamet, with the United States serving as its largest overseas market.
Faraz Manan, who joined the index in 2024, is the founder and creative director of his namesake luxury label. His designs, which combine elaborate embellishment with contemporary silhouettes, have established an international presence across South Asia and the Middle East, including a boutique in Dubai.
