Pakistani YouTubers Capture Over 60% Global Viewership, YouTube Reports

YouTube’s latest data shows that Pakistan has become one of the world’s fastest‑growing creator communities. More than 140,000 Pakistani channels have at least 10,000 subscribers, over 19,000 exceed 100,000, and more than 1,200 have surpassed one million subscribers. Creators uploaded more than 20 million hours of video in the past year.

International demand is strong: roughly 60% of total watch time for Pakistani videos comes from viewers outside Pakistan, with audiences in South Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North America driving the growth.

YouTube also rolled out a custom‑thumbnail tool for Shorts, available to creators in the YouTube Partner Program, allowing them to edit thumbnails for new and existing Shorts to attract more viewers.
