Pakistan's CDC and EClear introduce Raast digital payments to stock market

The Central Depository Company of Pakistan (CDC) and EClear Services Limited have expanded their collaboration to integrate advanced digital payment and investor verification services into Pakistan’s capital market. Operating under the CDC’s Raast Aggregator framework, the initiative introduces Raast Person-to-Merchant (P2M) payment solutions and Raast-based IBAN-CNIC validation services.

EClear Services is expected to be the first institution in the local stock market to adopt Raast P2M Request to Pay Later (RTPL) and Dynamic QR Code use cases. These technologies aim to automate processes such as debit and margin calls, providing a digital alternative to manual bank transfers and phone-based payment collections. This expansion builds upon previous implementations of Raast Person-to-Person (P2P) and Static QR Code services within the market.
