Pakrac hospital receives over 5,000 euros from motorcycle charity ride
The humanitarian motorcycle caravan ‘Kilometers for a Smile’, organized by the Goran Bence Legacy association, has successfully raised significant funds for the pediatric department at the Pakrac General Hospital.
As part of the Bike Show Expo held in Daruvar, hundreds of motorcyclists participated in a route spanning Daruvar, Sirač, Pakrac, and Lipik. The primary goal was to raise at least 3,100 euros to purchase resuscitation carts for the pediatric ward. Preliminary reports indicate that the total amount collected is expected to exceed 5,000 euros once all donations and cash contributions are finalized.
Organizers noted that the initiative was driven by a desire to support the community and address specific medical needs within the hospital. The event saw participation from various local motorcycle clubs and supporters from across Croatia and Slovenia.
