Pakrac implements local infrastructure and event development projects

The City of Pakrac is implementing several local development initiatives. The Tourist Board of Pakrac has issued a public call for interest to set up entertainment content and attractions for children and families at the 17th Slavonski banovac Fair, scheduled for October 10, 2026. The call covers a 964 m² area in the pedestrian zone, including Ban Jelačić Square and Hrvatskih velikana Street, seeking providers for inflatables, carousels, and other recreational activities.

Additionally, the city has completed the 'Maslačak za povratak' project at the Maslačak Kindergarten. Supported by nearly 50,000 euros from the Ministry of Demography and Migration, the project involved a comprehensive renovation of the facility's electrical, lighting, and telecommunications installations. The upgrades also included a new fire alarm system to improve safety for children and staff, as part of broader efforts to improve local infrastructure and encourage the return and settlement of the Croatian diaspora.
