Pal System launches community initiatives in Gunma and Kanagawa

Pal System Gunma is implementing several community-focused initiatives in Gunma Prefecture. The cooperative will hold special SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) lessons at Kusatsu Elementary School and Yotsuba Gakuen Secondary Education School on October 13 and 14. These sessions aim to teach students about environmental issues, recycling, and food drives to foster next-generation leaders.

Additionally, Pal System Gunma has entered a partnership with Oizumi Town to support childcare. Under this agreement, the town and the cooperative will provide ‘Omedetou Bako’ (congratulatory boxes) containing essential baby supplies and nutritional products to local families, utilizing the cooperative’s delivery network to monitor and support child-rearing households.

In Kanagawa Prefecture, Pal System Kanagawa will host a community event at its Yamato Center on October 10. The festival will feature product tastings, local producer exhibits, and activities for children, while also promoting resource recycling and food donation initiatives.
