Palacio de Rubalcava and Diario Río Negro undergo architectural updates

In Orihuela, Spain, the Palacio de Rubalcava is facing criticism as it remains closed to the general public despite the completion of renovation works. While the building is occasionally opened for specific festive events in its gardens, such as musical performances and celebrations related to the ‘Moros y Cristianos’ festivals, citizens and opposition members have expressed frustration over the lack of a formal inauguration and limited access to the historic site.

In Neuquén, Argentina, the Diario Río Negro agency has undergone a significant architectural remodeling and repurposing. Designed by Cinquegrani Arquitectura, the project aimed to modernize the workspace to meet contemporary journalistic and technological needs while preserving the historical identity of the 114-year-old institution. The renovation serves to bridge the building's long history with the requirements of modern communication processes.
