Palacio Granja de Mirabel estate put up for sale in Extremadura

The Palacio Granja de Mirabel, a significant historical estate located in the Las Villuercas mountains near Guadalupe, Extremadura, has returned to the real estate market. The property is being marketed by a real estate agency from Ciudad Real.

The estate spans 584 hectares and includes a 1,930-square-meter palace house featuring a mix of Mudéjar, Gothic, Baroque, and Moorish architectural elements. The site includes a walled enclosure, two chapels, Moorish gardens with fountains, a natural spring, and frescoed Gothic paintings.

Historically, the estate was linked to the Hieronymites of the Monastery of Guadalupe and was used by the Catholic Monarchs as a resting place. It was declared a Historical-Artistic Monument in 1931 and currently holds protection as a Bien de Interés Cultural. The land also serves as a large game estate with populations of deer and wild boar.
