Palacio San Juan opens as Murcia's first five-star hotel

Barceló Hotel Group has announced the opening of Palacio San Juan, a Royal Hideaway Hotel, marking the first five-star hotel in Murcia. The property is owned by Grupo Fuertes and is housed in the historic Palacio de Floridablanca.

The project involved a full restoration of the neoclassical building, preserving architectural elements such as the Arco de San Juan. The hotel features 70 rooms and suites, a rooftop pool, and various gastronomic spaces designed to connect guests with the local culture and the Murcia huerta.

The opening aims to strengthen the tourism offering in the region by integrating historical heritage with contemporary luxury.
