Palacký University Faculty of Education appoints new secretary

The Academic Senate of the Faculty of Education at Palacký University Olomouc has acknowledged the dean's proposal to appoint David Hoffman as the new faculty secretary. Hoffman, who possesses approximately twenty years of experience in economics and management, is scheduled to assume the role on October 2. He succeeds Ondřej Kolář, who stepped down due to health reasons.

During the same session, the senate reviewed a plan by Dean Vojtěch Regec to purchase a property located at Kollárovo náměstí 698/7 for 65 million CZK. The acquisition is intended to address the faculty's spatial and technical needs and to support the anticipated expansion of study programs. The building is expected to serve as a multi-purpose academic facility, providing various office and educational spaces.
