Palacký University hosts international physiotherapy and AI school

The seventh annual Czech School of Physiotherapy and Occupation Therapy took place from September 7 to 11 at Palacký University Olomouc. The event brought together 39 students and six instructors from ten international universities across countries including Bulgaria, Spain, Belgium, Finland, Slovakia, Poland, and Iceland.

This year’s program emphasized the integration of artificial intelligence in rehabilitation. Participants worked in multidisciplinary teams to address specific clinical cases, using AI assistants to assist with medical histories, examination interpretations, and therapy proposals. The curriculum focused on the critical assessment of AI-generated information to ensure clinical relevance for patient care.
