Palacký University launches autumn educational course for seniors

The Pevnost poznání center at Palacký University's Faculty of Science has launched its autumn edition of the ‘Blízká setkání třetího věku’ (Close Encounters of the Third Age) course. Organized by the Pro poznání association for the eleventh year, the program is designed to engage seniors through interactive learning and social connection.

The curriculum includes a variety of activities such as memory training, learning about the human body, digital safety, and exploring artificial intelligence. To promote physical and mental well-being, the course also incorporates juggling, Latin dance, board games, and music therapy. The program aims to foster new friendships and provide a space where seniors can actively participate and share their discoveries.
