Palacký University launches winter semester and new digital annual report

Palacký University in Olomouc is launching its winter semester with a diverse program of events for students, staff, and the public. Key activities include the MEET UP event at the Olomouc Summer Cinema, which showcases student associations and university departments. The university is also participating in European Sustainability Week and International Car Free Day, offering free tram services and bicycle maintenance.

Other scheduled activities include a university swap bazaar for clothing and books, a traditional student mass celebrated by Archbishop Josef Nuzík, and film screenings such as ‘Carbon: An Unauthorized Biography’.

Additionally, the university has transitioned its PR annual report for 2025 into a dedicated website format. This new digital platform replaces previous physical and electronic publications, providing a more interactive way to explore university achievements, research, international activities, and student life through thematic sections and data.
