Palacký University offers accredited courses for municipal officials

The Faculty of Law at Palacký University has launched applications for two accredited preparatory courses designed for municipal officials. These courses aim to help officials pass exams for Special Professional Competence (ZOZ), a legally required set of skills and knowledge necessary for specific administrative activities.

The two programs include a course focused on the Building Act and expropriation, as well as a cross-sectional course for municipal officials performing delegated powers. Both programs have received accreditation from the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic.

Scheduled to take place in person in Olomouc between January 21 and February 26, 2027, the instruction will be led by experts from the Department of Administrative and Financial Law, alongside legal practitioners from fields such as advocacy and the Public Defender of Rights.
