Palacký University restructures Endowment Fund

Palacký University (UP) has introduced a restructured version of its Endowment Fund to broaden its scope of support. While the fund, established in 2015, originally focused on helping young scientific talents gain international experience, the new model aims to support a wider array of university activities.

According to Rector Michael Kohajda, the vision is to create a modern crowdfunding platform. This will allow donors—ranging from small individual contributors to large partners—to fund diverse projects, including innovative ideas, public-facing initiatives, and exceptional scientific achievements. The new structure is designed to be more accessible and appealing to the university community and potential donors alike.
