Paladin Energy reports improved results as Langer Heinrich Mine ramps up
Paladin Energy reported a significant improvement in its fiscal 2026 financial performance, driven by the successful production ramp-up of the Langer Heinrich Mine in Namibia. The company recorded a net loss after tax of US$9.1 million, a substantial reduction from the US$76.5 million loss reported in fiscal 2025.
Revenue rose 71% to approximately US$304 million, supported by uranium sales of 4.35 million pounds at an average realized price of US$70 per pound. Total uranium production for the year reached 4.82 million pounds of U3O8, hitting the top end of the company’s revised guidance.
Paladin ended the year with a strengthened cash position of US$265 million in cash and investments. Looking ahead to fiscal 2027, the company intends to maximize value from the Langer Heinrich operation, advance the Patterson Lake South project in Canada, and continue progressing its exploration assets.
