Paladino d'Oro Sport Film Festival to be presented at Italian Chamber of Deputies

The 46th edition of the Paladino d'Oro Sport Film Festival will be officially presented at the Italian Chamber of Deputies on October 14. Organized by the Municipality of Palermo and the Academy of Sports Cinema, the event is the world's oldest festival dedicated to sports cinema.

During the presentation, the 46th Paladino d'Oro will be awarded to the documentary ‘Combattente’, directed by Marco Spagnoli. The film explores the life of Raf Vallone, an international film star who was also a journalist, partisan, and Serie A footballer. Eleonora Vallone, the actor's daughter, will accept the award.

Additionally, the Academy will honor actor Raoul Bova with a Paladino d'Oro, recognizing his connection to the sporting world as a former professional swimmer and his focus on sports-themed film and television projects.
