Palafrugell participants join Corre per les mames charity race

A total of 305 people participated in the Corre per les mames charity race in Palafrugell, contributing to a regional total of 7,326 participants across 24 towns in the Girona and Maresme areas. The event, organized by the Fundació Oncolliga Girona, aims to raise awareness for breast cancer and collect funds for those affected.

Registration fees from the Palafrugell leg of the race are destined for the Guapes i Valentes program. This initiative provides free psychological support, wig banks, oncological aesthetics, lymphatic drainage, pre-radiotherapy rehabilitation, nutritional counseling, and nordic walking for women with breast cancer.
