Palaia celebrates tenth edition of Bacco Palaia e Venere festival
The town of Palaia celebrated the tenth edition of ‘Bacco Palaia e Venere’, an event designed to promote local territory, excellence, and the commercial fabric through food, wine, and entertainment. The festival featured street food, wine tastings from local producers, and various performances including fire shows, aerial acrobatics, and music.
A highlight of the event was the theatrical performance ‘Vite – Trittico di novelle teatrali’ produced by Teatro di Bo’. Directed by Franco Di Corcia jr and Mattia Pagni, the three-hour marathon used storytelling and tableau vivant to connect Tuscan traditions and viticulture with contemporary language. The performance consisted of three original novellas—Rosso, Bianco, and Santo—exploring themes of passion, family, and the sacred in relation to the local vineyards.
