Palais de la Porte Dorée announces free weekend for cinema exhibition
The Palais de la Porte Dorée will offer free admission on October 31 and November 1, 2026, to mark the launch of the exhibition ‘Une histoire du cinéma français. Héritages maghrébins’.
The event features workshops, debates, and film screenings, including a special evening program by Camélia Jordana. The exhibition at the National Museum of the History of Immigration traces over sixty years of French cinema shaped by filmmakers and performers from Maghrebi immigration, highlighting figures such as Ali Ghalem, Hafsia Herzi, Rachid Bouchareb, Jamel Debbouze, and Roschdy Zem.
While the specific exhibition launch weekend is free with reservations, the museum and its collections also offer free admission to all visitors on the first Sunday of every month.
