Palanga to host EuroScout 2026 international scout philately exhibition

The 15th international scout and guide philately exhibition, ‘EuroScout 2026’, is scheduled to take place from September 3–6, 2026, at the Palanga Resort Museum in Lithuania. Organized by the International Federation of Scout & Guide Stamp Collecting Organizations (IFSCO) in collaboration with the museum, the event will feature 58 exhibition stands containing 696 exhibition sheets.

Representatives from 12 countries will present collections and books. The exhibition will showcase rare postage stamps, envelopes, postmarks, postcards, and other philatelic items related to the history of the global scouting movement. In addition to the displays, the event will include the 13th IFSCO conference, literature presentations, discussions, and markets for collectors and scouting memorabilia.

IFSCO President and Lithuanian collector Dr. Darius Liutikas has prepared two specific exhibitions: ‘History of Lithuanian Scouts’ and ‘R. Baden-Powell’s Visit to Lithuania’. The event aims to use philately to visually present the history of global movements and organizations to the public.
