Palazzo Pucci Martinez to host guided tour in Petralia Sottana

As part of the ‘Le Notti di BCsicilia’ event, a guided tour of Palazzo Pucci Martinez will take place in Petralia Sottana on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. The event is scheduled for 21:00 at Corso P. Agliata, 1.

The tour will feature historical insights provided by former prosecutor Leonardo Agueci and a presentation on the geo-paleontological collection by geologist Alessandro Torre. The initiative is organized by BCsicilia in collaboration with the Madonie Park, the Municipality of Petralia Sottana, Madonie Geopark, and other local entities. Participation is free and open to the public.

Built in 1719, Palazzo Pucci Martinez is a significant historical building in the heart of the town's historic center. It features representative halls, frescoed rooms, a private chapel, and stucco decorations. Following restoration work between 2013 and 2017, the palace currently serves as the headquarters for the Presidency and Direction of the Madonie Park and hosts cultural exhibitions and conferences.
