Paldo to raise prices on select cup noodles and beverages

Paldo has announced that it will increase the factory prices of certain instant noodle and beverage products starting the 1st of next month. The price adjustments affect 12 types of cup noodles and 9 types of beverages.

Among the cup noodles, the price increases include Wangttukkeong (5 types), Dosirak (2 types), and Paldo Bibimmyeon cups. The average price increase for cup noodles is 5.5%, while beverages will see an average increase of 5.8%. Specific product changes include Wangttukkeong rising from 975 won to 1,040 won, and Bibimmyeon cups increasing from 975 won to 1,105 won.

Beverage adjustments include Birak Sikhye cans, with the 238ml version rising from 500 won to 540 won. Paldo stated that it has maintained prices for all bagged noodle products to minimize the burden on consumers. The company noted that while it has worked to improve productivity and management efficiency to counter rising costs, price adjustments for certain items became unavoidable.
