Palembang Police engage motorcycle community to prevent illegal racing

Polrestabes Palembang has initiated a community engagement program targeting the ‘All 2 Tak’ motorcycle community to prevent illegal racing, gang activity, and street brawls. During a Sunday Morning Ride (Sunmori) event on September 6, 2026, police officials, including Palembang Police Chief Kombes Pol Sonny Mahar Budi Adityawan, participated in the ride to build direct communication with bikers.

The initiative aims to channel the hobby of riding two-stroke motorcycles into positive activities that support public order and security. Police hope that by fostering these relationships, motorcycle communities can act as partners in maintaining community safety and avoiding disruptive behaviors.
